Welcome to our Band program!
The Alcove Trails Band program is the largest student organization on campus. We are proud that our students are dedicated to excellence in music, academics, sports, and their communities. Joining Band at Alcove Trails means that students have a ready-made group of peers (we call it our “flock”) to learn, work and play together with.
Instruments that we can learn in BAND:
Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Percussion

Different physical characteristics tend to make producing sounds easier on some instruments as compared to others. As such, each student is able to try a variety of instruments with one of our teachers to determine the best fit. Our goal is to find the instrument that each student will have the most natural success with and is excited to play!

There is some financial commitment associated with playing an instrument, but we have financial aid available for families in need, making it possible for any student to join the band that wants to. Some instruments are owned by Alcove Trails and other instruments are rented or purchased by each family.
